Bogdan Ionescu loves music and movement, and ever since he met Ecstatic Dance Bucharest, he’s almost always on the dance floor. His enthusiasm to contribute and support the space we’re creating earned him a place in the team. With each meeting, Bogdan felt more and more inspired and ready to create his own musical journeys for Ecstatic Dance, helped by his previous experience as a deejay and a ever growing love for the dance community.

With his project called DJ INNI, he debuted in our community in the summer of 2022 with a powerful mix that literally blew up the dirt at Buruiană Community Garden festival, making everyone shout with joy. Since then, DJ Inni has been busy visiting several communities and conscious dance scenes in Bucharest and the country, sharing music for deep experiences, joy and connection.

Those who danced to the mixes created by him noted his interest in reinterpreted Romanian folk themes and the ancestral element he awakens in the dancers through songs infused with emotion. Bogdan’s mixes are also distinguished by the playful spirit of his proposals and the strong energy he builds up on the dance floor.
