Respect your space

Dancing with others might be great for a while. Remember you can return to your personal space when you feel like it. There is no obligation to continue an interaction when you no longer enjoy it.

Use this gesture to say “thank you” and end an interaction

There is a consensus on ecstatic dance floors that uniting your palms in front of your heart means “thank you for the dance, I am ready to by my own again, now”. It is also a nice gesture of appreciation for the interaction you shared with the other person, a way to say “I see you” using your body.
