Wilbrand is originally from the Netherlands, living in Romania at the moment and loving it.

He discovered his fascination for sound and music early in life and experimented with radio, mixing cassette tapes and playing the keyboard. In his youth he was deejaying for friends, putting up a party with just two CD players and a mixer. His interest for music remained a constant through out his life, as he followed his path working with energy, teaching Kundalini yoga and coaching men for unfolding their potential.

Two years ago life presented him an opportunity to play at a festival and that was how his journey as an Ecstatic Dance DJ had begun. Since he moved to Romania he is invited to play at Ecstatic Dances for communities in the west of the country.

His mixes are rich in flavour and style, with their roots in tribal sounds and branching into a diversity of genres from classical to dub-step, from vocals to trance. Creating mixes for the dance floor, Wilbrand is following his intuition, feeling as  a tool in service to the bigger plan, divinely guided and opened to inspiration from the Universe.

Ecstatic Dance is for him a sacred ceremony and a journey within the self, a sound immersive experience of self care, playing and inner discovery.
