Pronounced RAKU 楽 – music and comfort in Japanese (Dawid Rakowski) is a producer, DJ, musician, sound therapist and guide in psychedelic experiences of Polish origin, the creator of the Ecstatic Dance Sacred Valley movement in Peru.

His journeys through sound combine music from all over the world, shamanic traditions and electronic music. RAQ’s 14 years experience of musical performances brought him to places like the Norwegian Fijord rave scene, Tokyo underground bars, the legendary Berlin Tresor, Polish clubs and outdoor festivals, and finally to the Amazon jungle and the Sacred Valley of Peru. He has successfully avoided being labeled with a certain musical genre, appearing in line-ups with artists such as Dengue Dengue Dengue, Novalima Djs, Flume, Teebs, Lapalux, Low Leaf, Dadub, SNTS, Kagding Ray, SHXCXCHCXSH, Lakker, Headless Horseman, Vatican Shadow, Ancient Methods, Lucy, Rrose.

He currently focuses on raising collective consciousness through his DJing, ritualistic sound production, sound baths and psychedelic explorations in Peru, supporting the local Quechua and Shipibo families. He was invited to co-create the McKenna Academy, a mystery school of natural philosophy that carries on the legacy of Terence and Dennis McKenna. His responsibility is to handle the social media platforms, where he writes about research, ancestral traditions and educational content about the safe use of medicinal plants.
