DJ Tayphoon, is part of the new generation of ecstatic dance deejays. He lives in Hamburg and performs regularly for the conscious dance community there and in other cities in Germany, Holland, Israel, in Zurich, Paris, Prague and at Ecstatic Dance festivals in Europe. Together with a group of friends, he founded in 2023 a new Ecstatic Dance event space in Portugal, where he regularly organizes events during the warm season.

Tayphoon’s journeys are inspired by his Turkish heritage and love of ethnic dance music from around the world. His sets are distinguished by waves of energy that arise from meditative states and build to an ecstatic release that invites the inner wild animal and natural ecstasy to be expressed and experienced.

From warm Middle Eastern melodies, bouncy ethno beats, powerful tribal beats and cheeky psy bass drops, his sets incorporate a wide range of genres, inviting dancers to reconnect with the light, shadows and all the abundance of flavors of their emotions.
